Features
The PicoScope 9400 series is a new type of SXRTO oscilloscope that combines the advantages of real-time sampling, equivalent time sampling, and high analog bandwidth.
1. SXRTO (Real time oscilloscope with extended sampler)
2. 9404-16:16 GHz bandwidth, transition time of 22 ps, and equivalent time sampling of 2.5 TS/s (0.4 ps resolution)
9404-05: 5 GHz bandwidth, transition time of 70 ps, and equivalent time sampling of 1 TS/s (1 ps resolution)
3. Pulse, eye pattern, and template testing speeds as low as 100 ps, up to 8 Gb/s
4. 12 bit 500 MS/s ADC
5. Intuitive and configurable touch compatible Windows user interface
6. Comprehensive built-in measurement, scaling, data masking, and histogram
7. ± 800 mV full scale input range of 50 Ω
8. Digital gain provides a range of 10 mV/div to 0.25 V/div
9. Sharing a wiring length of up to 250 kS between channels
10. Optional clock and data recovery (8 Gb/s on 9404-16 and 5 Gb/s on 9404-05)
Typical Applications
1. Telecommunications and radar testing, services and manufacturing
2. Fiber optic, transceiver, and laser testing (excluding photoelectric conversion)
3. Measurement of RF, microwave, and gigabit digital systems
4. Signal, eye pattern, pulse and pulse characterization
5. Timing and phase analysis
6. Design and Characterization of Digital Systems
7. Eye maps, masks, and extreme testing speeds up to 8 Gb/s
8. Clock and data recovery speed up to 8 Gb/s
9. Ethernet, HDMI 1, PCI, SATA, USB 2.0
10. Semiconductor characteristics
11. Signal, data, and pulse/pulse integrity and pre consistency testing
