Introduction:LK-G500 series laser displacement sensor

*1 NPN open-pole output rating: 50 mA max. (40 V max.), residual voltage: 0.5 V max.
PNP open-pole output rating: 50 mA max. (30 V max.), residual voltage: 0.5 V max.
Volt-free input quota: On voltage: max. 1 V, Off current: max. 0.6 mA
Voltage input rating: Maximum input rating: 26.4 V, on voltage: 10.2 V max, off current: 0.6 mA max.
Some of the internal input/output circuits of the LK-G5000 series are the same. Please note that potential differences between cables/external devices do not result in potential differences at the same internal terminals. For details, refer to "Wiring Precautions" in the User's Manual.
*2 NPN open-pole output rating: 50 mA max. (40 V max.), residual voltage: 0.5 V max.

For details, refer to "Wiring Precautions" in the User's Manual. This input can be applied to all integrated output ports.
*3 NPN open-pole output rating: 50 mA max. (40 V max.), residual voltage: 0.5 V max.
PNP open-pole output rating: 50 mA max. (30 V max.), residual voltage: 0.5 V max.
Voltage input quota: On voltage: max. 1 V, Off current: max. 0.6 mA

Please note that potential differences between cables/external devices do not result in potential differences at the same internal terminals. For details, refer to "Wiring Precautions" in the User's Manual. When a Class 3B laser sensor head is connected, the key-operated switch must be used as this terminal input. Laser light is emitted only when the key switch is set to ON. (Select a key that can be cancelled only when the key operation switch is set to OFF.)
When a Class 2/3R Laser Sensor Head is connected, the laser turns on when the terminal is turned on and turns off when the terminal is short-circuited.
*4 When a PC supporting USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 Full speed is connected, the data refresh cycle and other operations may be slowed down.
*5 The Ethernet connection can only be made one-to-one with a personal computer or a local connection, including the connection between a personal computer and an LK-G5000 series module only.
*6 The EtherNet/IP® interface cannot be used when a CC-Link Unit or DeviceNet® Unit is installed; EtherNet/IP® supports the latest controllers.
